Diorite (100% Torian)

The Diorite Project is located 40km northwest of Leonora in Western Australia (Figure 3) and is immediately south of Torians Mt Stirling Project. The Project lies 4km NW of the Tarmoola Gold Mine (Red5’s King of the Hill), which has produced in excess of 1 million ounces of gold to date. Current unmined resources are believed to be in the order of 3.1 million ounces at an average grade of 1.5 g/t Au.

This was a strategic acquisition by Torian of the land immediately south of the highly prospective Mount Stirling Project. The tenure covers the continuation of the same suite of rocks (Figure 5) that contain Mount Stirling and the 4 gold mines to its immediate east (Figure 3).
